I was in Kingston, Ontario for a few days last week, interviewing some of the creative people who live and work there. It’s not my first time in the city, but everyone I met had a love for the city that was palpable. It’s really a great place to visit. Here are a few of the shots of the people I talked to and some other photos I took during previous visits.
#Chef Eric Brennan of @chiennoirbistro in #Kingston was good enough to give us an interview today. His enthusiasm for the city's burgeoning food scene is infectious. It's easy to see why he gets so excited as the city seems to have an abundance of good, local restaurants that are eagerly embraced by the community.

Toronto’s Yonge Street was once thought to be the world’s longest street, but only if you consider Highway 11 as an extension of the road. Today, the Guinness Book of World Records has no such entry, but does have one for the world’s longest “motorable road” which it cites as the Pan-American Highway.

The photos below, one from each territory and province, show the beauty of the nation when it is blanketed in white. Soon enough, the spring will come with the return of birdsong and the scent of flowers and we get to rediscover the beauty of Canada in another season. We will enjoy it while it lasts, but remember that winter will be back again and will greet it happily when it arrives.
