Dutch photographer and video artist Kees Colijn is slowly making his way east and documenting his travels with videos that let us look over his shoulder as he explores foreign cities.
His videos run about an hour and are completely unedited. He simply lets the camera roll as he captures the daily activities of ordinary people as they go about their lives. They are a welcome antidote to the quick-cut, slickly photographed travel videos that we expect in our attention-deficit age.
His latest video transports us to the fascinating Indian city of Varanasi.
